Takaya Lloyd is an Okinawan and Egyptian writer-director and actor characterized by thoughtful narratives and unique imagery. His film EGRESS was awarded by the Russo brothers (Marvel's Avengers) in their No Sleep 'Til Film festival and his web pilot HAPA built a strong audience in the AAPI community partnering with companies like Teradek, Blackmagic, and SmallHD. As an actor he has had roles in MYTHIC QUEST (AppleTV), LEGION (Marvel), and ON THE VERGE (Netflix).

Takaya is a retired World Champion ballroom dancer and a classically trained visual arts alumni of the Pinellas County Center for the Arts (PCCA). Raised in Barbados and Central Florida, he now splits his time between Los Angeles and Okinawa.
